Willis Ayieko: Female Suspect in The Wells Fargo HR Manager’s case dies During Arrest

Siaya – Detectives from the Nyanza DCI arrested two women linked to the murder of Willis Ayieko, a Wells Fargo HR Manager, whose body was found in a swamp in the Sabatia area of Siaya County.

A female suspect in Willis Ayieko's murder has died.

An autopsy revealed that Willis Ayieko died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Prior to the arrest of his suspected killers, the suspects were allegedly en route to commit a violent robbery when police intervened, resulting in a confrontation that escalated to gunfire.

Nyanza Regional DCI Coordinator Lenny Kisaka reported that during the October 29 altercation, a male suspect escaped with gunshot wounds, fleeing into nearby thickets and later taking off on a motorbike.

Police recovered Ayieko’s Ceska pistol and 11 rounds of ammunition at the scene, along with police uniforms found in the suspects’ possession.

One of the female suspects later succumbed to injuries from the confrontation, as reported by Citizen TV. Authorities are now intensifying their search for the remaining five members of the suspected gang believed to be linked to the murder.
