The post-mortem findings for Tabitha Gatwiri, a content creator recently discovered deceased in her home, have now been released.
What Caused Tabitha Gatwiri’s Death?
On Saturday, November 2, fellow content creator Naomi Kuria shared a statement disclosing the results of Tabitha Gatwiri’s post-mortem. The examination was conducted at the Kenyatta University Funeral Home in the presence of her family. Pathologists concluded that Gatwiri died from suffocation, with further tests being carried out to investigate any possibility of poisoning or intoxication.
“She passed on from positional asphyxia with brain oedema,” the report read.
The statement further noted that more tests would be done to establish whether Gatwiri had been poisoned.
“A full toxicology will rule out possible poisoning or intoxication.” They also announced
that burial plans are underway, and the funeral date will be announced.
“Hello friends, here is the verified update on Brenda Gatwiri’s demise. May her soul continue resting in peace,” Kuria wrote.

In other news, post-mortem results for Lucy Wambui have been released. Wambui, 45, passed away days after undergoing a liposuction procedure at Body By Design.
Three pathologists conducted the examination, which revealed that Wambui experienced chest pain and difficulty breathing on the second day following the abdominal fat liposuction.
The autopsy confirmed evidence of liposuction, with the cause of death determined to be cardiorespiratory failure. Pathologists recommended further investigations into the circumstances of her death.
The government has since announced the temporary closure of the facility pending the outcome of these investigations.
