Trump’s Victory Speech
In his victory speech, Trump expressed gratitude to the US citizens who voted for him in large numbers and vowed to fulfill all his campaign promises.
“We’re going to help our country heal, we have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president. We’re going to turn the country around and make it something special. It lost that little thing called ‘special’. It’s potentially the greatest country in the world by far and right now we’re going to work very hard to get it back…we’re going to have to seal off,” Trump said.
He also acknowledged the tight race against Harris, calling it “one that nobody has ever seen before.”
“This was the greatest political movement of all time. Now it is going to reach a new level of importance because we are going to help our country heal,” he added.
