Jamaican singer and songwriter Sean Paul is set to return to Kenya this December, marking his first performance in the country in 20 years.

The Grammy-winning dancehall legend, who last performed in Kenya in 2004, is famous for hits like “I’m Still In Love,” “Got 2 Luv U,” “Give It Up to Me,” “Temperature,” “Like Glue,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Hold My Hand,” among many others.

He’ll be sharing the stage with some of Nairobi’s top acts, including DJ Grauchi, G-Money, Redsan, BV Accurate, Motif Di Don, Mish, and more.

Sean Paul will be back in Nairobi-Kenya on Sunday, 1st December 2024 in an event themed CARNIVAL🥳🥳🥳 taking you back to dancehall vibes

The 51-year-old star announced on social media that;

“Habari yenu, its is Sean Paul the original letting you know, I’m coming there December 1st, you hear? Its gonna be a big show, don’y you miss it, come out. Mko freshi lakini?”

The singer’s first album dubbed ‘Stage One’ was released in 2000 but he earned international fame with his second album dubbed ‘Dutty Rock’ in 2002 with the tracks “Get Busy” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart  and the track “Temperature” from his third album dubbed ‘The Trinity’ in 2005….REWRITE
