Media personality Tallia Oyando is reportedly set to join NTV immediately after hosting her final show on Citizen TV this Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Known as the “Night Nurse,” Tallia announced to her fans that this weekend marks her farewell to the Maalim Juma Road-based station.
Speaking to Mpasho, a source from NTV confirmed the news, saying, “Tallia is coming to NTV, and her show will begin almost immediately after she bids goodbye to Citizen TV.”
The source also revealed that NTV has been actively recruiting more talent, including Natalie Githinji, formerly of NRG Radio, and Laura Mbatha, who worked with Standard Media’s KTN and Sound City radio.
“Natalie and Laura will be hosting an evening music show after the 4 PM news. It’s similar to The Beat but with a fresh twist and dynamic presenters,” added the insider.
In a heartfelt statement, Tallia Oyando announced her departure from Citizen TV, inviting fans to join her for her final show on the station.
“After eight beautiful years of love, music, and family on One Love at Citizen TV, it’s time for a new chapter,” she shared. “You tuned in week after week, sang along to every anthem, and turned this platform into more than just a show; you made it a home.”
While expressing gratitude, Tallia assured fans that this is not the end. “This chapter is closing, but I promise you, our story is far from over. Even greater things are on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share them with you.”
Janet Mbugua Joins NTV
Seasoned journalist Janet Mbugua has announced her move to NTV.
