In 2024, life took a tough turn for “Ndio Maanake” hitmaker Stivo Simple Boy after his then-manager, Chingi, severed ties with him. Chingi alleged that Stivo had moved back to Kibera and claimed the singer’s brother had taken over his house in Buru Buru. This difficult period led Stivo to seek financial assistance to cover rent and support his family.

How Stivo Simple Boy is Making Money

In a TV 47 interview, Stivo expressed joy over his financial turnaround. He credited his stylists for helping him create a unique buzz with his fashion while he focused on producing music. Stivo has also been performing in different counties, holding shows, and earning through appearances.

“This is great, and if Kenyans continue to support me, Kenyan music will rise too. When there’s a show, people now say, ‘Stivo can deliver.’ Muziki inalipa. Mimi niko sawa,” he said.

In a video promoting the event at Continental Inn in Mlolongo, the singer urged fans to show up in droves. However, his declaration that tickets were only KSh 200 drew mixed reactions.
