Authorities are investigating a daring robbery caught on CCTV in Marurui, Nairobi. The footage shows two unidentified thieves breaking into a premises by cutting a padlock before stealing a television set.

 

The suspects arrived in a Toyota vehicle, which was parked strategically outside the building. After successfully breaking the lock, the duo swiftly carried the TV into the car and fled the scene. However, attempts by the police to trace the vehicle’s number plate have hit a dead end, as the footage does not clearly capture the registration details.

 

The incident was reported to Marurui Police Station, where officers have launched investigations. Residents have expressed concern over the rising insecurity in the area, urging law enforcement to act swiftly.

“We fear this could become a trend if not addressed. We hope the police can bring these individuals to justice,” said a local shopkeeper.
