How Bruno Fernandes saved an ill passenger A passenger on the plane, Susana Lawson, says the attacking midfielder screamed for help.

“Bruno went to the loo at the back of the plane during the flight. We suddenly heard a shout for assistance which those within hearing distance looked back, including us as we were toward the back,” she said in an interview with Business Cloud.

“Bruno was holding a gentleman who looked like he was passing out. I don’t know if he lost consciousness or not.”

The easyJet cabin crew quickly attended to the ill passenger, and Lawson noted that the former Sporting Lisbon star stayed by his side for five to ten minutes before quietly returning to his seat, modestly downplaying his status and the gesture he had made.

Bruno Fernandes’ resurgence post-ten Hag

This compassionate “assist” follows his stellar performance against Leicester City on Sunday. The 30-year-old scored, forced an own goal, and provided an assist as the Red Devils routed the Foxes in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s last match as interim manager.

Fernandes experienced a slump in form under Erik ten Hag but has recently regained his scoring touch, netting five goals in his last four matches.

After the international break, he and his teammates will be guided by Ruben Amorim, who assumed the role of head coach on November 11.

Amorim shakes things up

According to TRENDYNEWS.co.ke, Amorim made bold changes by letting go of four coaches as he assembles his own team at Old Trafford.

Van Nistelrooy’s role as assistant coach was uncertain following ten Hag’s departure.
