Why is Shifura Struggling Financially?

Shifura, the Ugandan vixen whose striking eyes captured the hearts of Kenyan men after featuring in D Star’s viral Hoozambe freestyle, is facing financial challenges despite her newfound fame.

The video, which sparked the Shifura Challenge in Kenya, showcased her captivating gaze as she sat on D Star’s lap while he performed alongside friends. Social media users were mesmerized, praising her beauty and irresistible eyes.

However, fame hasn’t translated into financial stability for Shifura. In a recent interview, she revealed that she has no stable source of income, which has left her struggling to make ends meet.

Despite the attention and admiration she’s received online, Shifura’s financial difficulties highlight the challenges faced by individuals who gain sudden fame without a sustainable career path.

“I am stressed because of my child and rent,” she said.

Shifura disclosed that her monthly rent is KSh 6,000, and she can barely afford necessities. She further accused her former management of exploiting her.

“I got some misunderstandings with my old management.”

Shifurah said she had to open a new TikTok account to get gigs but has been unsuccessful.

She appealed to well-wishers for support as she sought to rebuild her life and provide for her child.

Netizens reacted by saying: Rinahsandie:

“She was so proud, and I probably saw this coming.”

goddie_muhindo:

“Let’s educate ourselves about contracts. People sign contracts without knowing their outcomes.”

misslin880: “Sorry to hear that.”
