Brisbane has a new star attraction, and it’s turning the city blue(y). Bluey’s World, an interactive family-friendly experience, has just opened its doors, inviting fans of the hit children’s TV show into the Heeler family’s world for the first time.

Bluey, the lovable blue heeler pup adored by kids and grown-ups alike, has become a true Aussie icon. Her playful adventures, family fun, and everyday moments in Brisbane have captured hearts worldwide, turning the Queensland capital into a global hotspot.

Now, fans can dive straight into Bluey’s world with a magical new experience that brings the show to life.

This 70-minute guided journey happens at Brisbane’s Northshore Pavilion, a specially built 4,000-square-meter space by the Brisbane River in Northshore-Hamilton. Small groups are welcomed by a fairy (remember the Fairies episode?) into a perfect replica of the Heeler family’s house, complete with its red roof and classic Queenslander charm.First look inside Bluey's World revealed

From there, a friendly garden gnome becomes your guide on an unforgettable adventure with Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli. The experience is packed with hands-on fun, interactive games, puzzles, and stunning sets.

Instead of thrilling rides, this attraction focuses on what Bluey does best—encouraging imagination, creativity, and teamwork. The storyline is inspired by the show, with playful nods to fan-favorite episodes like Keepy Uppy and Magic Xylophone.

It’s a chance for families to step into Bluey’s magical world and create their own joyful memories.

Beloved characters like Chattermax and Unicorse guide the adventure, adding to the magic.

Fans will also delight in spotting hidden Easter eggs and small details that make this experience a dream come true for any Bluey enthusiast.

A Local Treasure with Global Fame

Bluey’s worldwide success is a huge source of pride for Brisbane. Created by Joe Brumm and brought to life by local studio Ludo for ABC Kids (co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios), the show has reached heights rarely seen in Australian children’s programming.

Now airing in over 60 countries and a hit on platforms like Disney+, Bluey has become a global favorite. Bluey’s World is more than an experience—it’s a celebration of this success, a thank-you to fans, and a tribute to Brisbane’s exceptional creative talent.

“Hosting Bluey’s World here in Brisbane is a perfect fit,” said Andrew Powell MP, Queensland’s Minister for Environment and Tourism, as well as Minister for Science and Innovation.

“Queensland is Bluey’s real-life home, and we anticipate a massive economic boost from this event, with hundreds of thousands of visitors expected and more than $18 million contributing to the local economy. And those numbers will only grow as more people discover how truly special this experience is.”

For Brisbane locals, Bluey’s World adds an exciting new option to the city’s family-friendly attractions, creating a fun way to spend a day while celebrating a cherished home-grown icon. For visitors from farther away, it’s a chance to connect with a show that’s captured hearts worldwide and to explore the places that inspired its vibrant world.
