Kagendo Locked Out of Mansion on Sabbath

On what was supposed to be a peaceful Sabbath day, Kagendo was startled by loud banging on her gate around noon, though no one entered the compound. Speaking to TrendyNews.co.ke, she shared that she had planned to pick up a househelp, with her children volunteering to accompany her for the errand.

“When we returned, I found my husband standing outside the gate. He told me to go back to where I came from. I was no longer welcome in the mansion. When I tried to approach him, he shouted louder, ordering me to return from where I came from. When my son saw that, he turned the car and drove away,”

Kagendo, who had recently undergone a caesarean section, recounted the harrowing experience, revealing that welders changed the locks on their house while she and her husband stood by. Overwhelmed by stress, Kagendo began bleeding, and the pain pushed her to scream in agony. In desperation, she headed to the police station, seeking help.

“My husband was unbothered as he stood afar while the goons and welders continued changing locks. I was helpless. I staggered inside the house to see the goons throwing away my stuff. When everything was done, I could not access the house with my possessions thrown out in the compound.

One villager said she saw my car being driven to the OCS. I met with my son, who drove me to the police station, where we found my husband. He had written that he was reporting a tenant who had refused to pay rent for a while,” she said.

When Kagendo gave her side of the story, the police sympathised with her and offered to help her by first taking her to the hospital so that she could get medical help.
